1. Who we are

Glassic Wine Limited is a wine curation and events company based in Hong Kong. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, our events, and our membership programme, in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.

2. What we collect

• ✦  Enquiry details you submit through our contact form — name, email, phone, and your message.
• ✦  Your email address, when you subscribe to our newsletter.
• ✦  Membership records for Wine Club members — name, contact details, membership tier, account balance, and preferences you share with us so we can curate well for you.
• ✦  Event registration details, handled through Eventbrite when you book a seat.

3. How we use it

We use your data to respond to enquiries, run your membership, arrange events and tours you book, and — if you have subscribed — send occasional notes about upcoming events and releases. We write to you personally; we do not run automated profiling.

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to deliver what you have asked for — such as Eventbrite for event ticketing and WhatsApp for messages you initiate — and only to that extent.

4. Cookies, analytics & advertising

This website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how our advertising performs and to show relevant ads to people who have visited us. It sets cookies and sends Meta certain actions you take here — such as viewing a page, subscribing to our newsletter, or submitting an enquiry — so we can measure and improve our campaigns. That data is handled under Meta’s data policy; you can limit it through your browser’s cookie settings or your Meta ad preferences. The members portal uses a single session credential solely to keep you signed in; it identifies your membership record and nothing else. Third-party sites we link to (Eventbrite, Instagram, Facebook) have their own privacy policies.

5. Security & retention

Your data is stored on access-controlled systems; member access codes are stored only in irreversibly hashed form. We keep personal data no longer than needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and delete it on request where we are able to.

6. Your rights

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you may request access to, or correction of, personal data we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by replying to any email or writing to us. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@glassicwine.com.
