Event Policy — Glassic Wine

1. Definitions

In these Terms, the following capitalised words and expressions have the meanings set out below:

Glassic Wine / Glassic / We / Us / Our: Glassic Wine Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong.
Attendee / You / Your: Any individual who holds a ticket for, registers for, or attends an Event, and any guest they bring.
Data Protection Laws: Applicable data protection and privacy laws in Hong Kong, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
Event: Any wine dinner, tasting, seminar, or other event organised by Glassic Wine.
Event Confirmation: Our written (including digital) confirmation of your registration — including the confirmation email issued by Eventbrite for ticketed Events.
Event Date / Event Venue: The scheduled date and location of the Event.
Fee: The amount payable by an Attendee for a seat at the Event, including any ticketing fee charged by Eventbrite.
Losses: All direct and indirect liabilities, damages, costs, claims, and expenses (including legal fees).
Registration Details: The information provided when registering, including names, contact details, dietary or access requirements.

Registration is confirmed upon full payment and receipt of an Event Confirmation.
Tickets for public Events are sold through Eventbrite; Eventbrite's own terms and ticketing fees apply to the purchase in addition to these Terms.
Accurate Registration Details must be submitted for all attendees at least 2 business days before the Event. Entry may be denied if your name is not on the attendee list.
We can accommodate dietary requirements if notified at least 72 hours prior to the Event. No additional charge applies for such adjustments if submitted within this timeframe. Requests made after this cutoff may not be fulfilled.
All Event registrations are subject to availability and our acceptance.
We photograph the table, the wines and the food. We do not publish any photograph in which a guest is identifiable — on our website, social media or in print — without that guest's written permission. Tell the host if you would rather not appear in any photograph at all.
All Attendees must be 18 years or older, in compliance with Hong Kong's legal drinking age.
The Event is for private enjoyment only. No commercial solicitation or reselling of tickets is allowed without prior written consent.

Glassic Wine or the Venue may remove any Attendee behaving inappropriately or unlawfully.
You are liable for any damage or loss to the Venue, Glassic Wine, or other Attendees.

Full payment of Fees is required at the time of registration.
Prices include applicable charges. No commercial invoices or VAT receipts will be provided.
Public Events are ticketed and paid through Eventbrite at the time of booking. Eventbrite's ticketing and card-processing fees are non-refundable.
Private and corporate bookings are invoiced by Glassic Wine and may be paid by bank transfer, FPS or PayMe, as set out in the booking confirmation.

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to Event content including wines, speakers, hosts, venue, or timing. Wines may be changed without prior notice.
No refund, replacement, or credit will be issued for corked or otherwise unsatisfactory bottles, even if backup bottles are unavailable.

All ticket purchases are strictly non-refundable, regardless of circumstance, including illness, travel disruption, or adverse weather.
If you are unwell, you may request your meal be prepared for takeaway or assign your seat to another person without fee, with at least 2 business days' notice.
Substitutions must be confirmed in writing and are subject to approval.
Due to the perishable nature of the Event, no cancellation, credit, or refund can be issued under any circumstances once booking is confirmed.
Ticketing and credit card processing fees are non-refundable and forfeited upon purchase.

We will comply with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
Data may be shared with venues, caterers, and partners involved in Event delivery.
We use your Registration Details to run the Event and to contact you about it. We will only send you news about other Glassic Wine events if you have opted in — through a separate tick-box at checkout or on our newsletter signup — and you may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@glassicwine.com. See our Privacy Policy.

Force Majeure includes typhoons, pandemics, venue failure, or other uncontrollable events.
If the Event is cancelled due to Force Majeure, we will attempt to reschedule within two months.
If rescheduling is not possible, we may offer an Event credit. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Attendance is at your own risk and Glassic Wine is not responsible for personal or property loss.
Our liability is limited to rebooking or Event credit. We shall not be liable for financial or consequential losses.

We may amend these Terms with 5 working days' notice. Continued attendance indicates acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
Glassic Wine reserves the right of final decision in the event of any dispute.
