Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms, the following capitalised words and expressions have the meanings set out below:

• Glassic Wine / the Wine Club / We / Us / Our: Glassic Wine Limited, based in Hong Kong.
• Attendee / You / Your: Any individual who registers for or attends an Event (including members and their guests).
• Data Protection Laws: Applicable data protection and privacy laws in Hong Kong, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
• Event: Any wine dinner, tasting, seminar, or other event organised by the Wine Club.
• Event Confirmation: Our written (including digital) confirmation of your registration.
• Event Date / Event Venue: The scheduled date and location of the Event.
• Fee: The amount payable by a member or guest to attend the Event.
• Losses: All direct and indirect liabilities, damages, costs, claims, and expenses (including legal fees).
• Registration Details: The information provided when registering, including names, contact details, dietary or access requirements.

2. Registration for Events

• — Registration is confirmed upon full payment and receipt of an Event Confirmation.
• — Accurate Registration Details must be submitted for all attendees at least 2 business days before the Event. Entry may be denied if your name is not on the attendee list.
• — We can accommodate dietary requirements if notified at least 72 hours prior to the Event. No additional charge applies for such adjustments if submitted within this timeframe. Requests made after this cutoff may not be fulfilled.
• — All Event registrations are subject to availability and our acceptance.
• — Photographs and video may be taken at Events. By attending, you consent to your image being used in future Wine Club materials including websites, social media, and print. Notify the photographer if you do not wish to be photographed.
• — All Attendees must be 18 years or older, in compliance with Hong Kong's legal drinking age.
• — The Event is for private enjoyment only. No commercial solicitation or reselling of tickets is allowed without prior written consent.

3. Attendance Requirements

• — Attendees must comply with venue rules and behave respectfully and lawfully.
• — Attendance is at your own risk.

4. Conduct & Liability

• — The Club or Venue may remove any Attendee behaving inappropriately or unlawfully.
• — You are liable for any damage or loss caused by you to the Venue, Club, or other Attendees.

5. Fees & Payment

• — Full payment of Fees is required at the time of registration.
• — Prices include applicable charges. No commercial invoices or VAT receipts will be provided.
• — Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, PayMe, FPS, or others designated by the Club.

6. Changes to Event

• — We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to Event content including wines, speakers, hosts, venue, or timing. Wines may be changed without prior notice.
• — No refund, replacement, or credit will be issued for corked or otherwise unsatisfactory bottles, even if backup bottles are unavailable.

7. Substitution and Cancellation Policy

• — All ticket purchases are strictly non-refundable, regardless of circumstance, including illness, travel disruption, or adverse weather.
• — If you are unwell, you may request your meal be prepared for takeaway or assign your seat to another person without fee, with at least 2 business days' notice.
• — Substitutions must be confirmed in writing and are subject to approval.
• — Due to the perishable nature of the Event, no cancellation, credit, or refund can be issued under any circumstances once booking is confirmed.
• — Ticketing and credit card processing fees are non-refundable and forfeited upon purchase.

8. Data Protection

• — We will comply with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
• — Data may be shared with venues, caterers, and partners involved in Event delivery.
• — By registering, you consent to the use of your data for communications related to the Event and Club activities.

9. Force Majeure

• — Force Majeure includes typhoons, pandemics, venue failure, or other uncontrollable events.
• — If the Event is cancelled due to Force Majeure, we will attempt to reschedule within two months.
• — If rescheduling is not possible, we may offer an Event credit. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

10. Limitation of Liability

• — Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by negligence.
• — Attendance is at your own risk and the Club is not responsible for personal or property loss.
• — Our liability is limited to rebooking or Event credit. We shall not be liable for financial or consequential losses.

11. General Provisions

• — We may amend these Terms with 5 working days' notice. Continued attendance indicates acceptance.
• — These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
• — The Wine Club reserves the right of final decision in the event of any dispute.
